Hola! It's been away again, but not as long as the time before. I dont know how much more I'm gonna update this stupid thing cause no one reads it anymore. I made a facebook thing today, which turned out to be pretty cool. I already have a couple of friends from my school as well as some other people I went to high school with (including my Brinton Anthony). Taylor, a boy I met at the beach like three years ago, found my name too and so I added him to my friends list too. I thought that was pretty cool!
I was in Virginia this weekend with Char and Matt to visit Aden. We had some ups and downs with the car troubles and stuff but over all it was a pretty sweet trip. I'm glad we went. I might be going back down with Mrs. Sorge Labor Day weekend, if Aden can't come home.
School starts back up in two weeks. I am so excited to move up and see everyone and to get our room all set up. We got new furniture up at school which should be cool. The only sucky thing will be the homework, and the fact that I have to take Statistics. I suck at math! Always have.
I dont really have too much to update about so I think I'm gonna end this entry. Peace out! =) |

Well it's about time I update this thing, I'm pretty sure it's been a while. I haven't been getting any replys on my entries lately though so I'm not even sure if anyone reads this anymore. I've had the link in my profile for so long, I think everyone just gets tired of clicking it only to find an un-updated, un-recent journal. But I feel like typing so if anyone does check this thing, they'll be in for a suprise.
I had a good day today. I was off for the second day in a row. Char and I went shopping; I spent too much money...again. I like the shirts I bought though, cause they're super cute. We had a yummy spaghetti dinner tonight. Matt, Char, and I went up to Chimmney Rocks to take pictures. We also went to the Canal Basin Park and Legion Park to take some pictures but by the time we got to Legion Park, it was getting pretty dark so we came home. We plan to go back on Sunday after I'm done at work and we also might go up to the Gardens up at school.
Char and I booked our room for August 12, 13, and 14 in Virignia for when we go and visit Aden. We couldnt get a room in the Hampton Inn that was near his base. The only one we could get was the one at the Richmond airport, but its still cool cause we are going to get to visit him. We are planning on going to Kings Dominion while we are down there. And if we are feeling spontaneous, we might drive to Virginia Beach, even thought its about two hours away. It might not work out, but we'll think it over. It should be a really fun weekend!
Yesterday, I went swimming at Nikki's house cause she got a new pool! Its awesome! I got burnt a little but that is because I am so white. I have hardly been out in the sun at all this summer. Nikki told me that I look like a ghost. That isnt good, so I need to remedy that. ;)
Mike's wedding was great. It was on July 9th. It was a beautiful day. It started off a little hectic but in the end it was wonderful. I finally got to meet and spend time with Mike's friend Randy who lives in Kentucky. I've heard his voice over the phone for many years now but I never really got to meet him. He's a great guy and he said that he is going to move up here to live within the next year, so he can sweep me off my feet. He said he's a bonafide southern gentleman. I believe him when he says it.
Aden had the whole month off. I got to spend so much time with him. It was so wonderful. The month went too damn fast because he's already back down at Fort Lee. I was just starting to get used to driving over to his house to visit him and now he's gone. It's weird because it doesnt feel like he's left yet. I feel lonely for some reason when I think about it. I wish I could be with him all the time because I have so much fun when I am with him. He makes me happy, more than any person I've ever met. I think I'm gonna keep him around for a long time. ;) ;)
School starts back up in about a month. Fabolous. I already filled out my loan information and now all I need to do is order my damn books. They are going to cost me somewhere around $450 bucks or so. How much does that blow? A lot, huh? Books suck. Who needs them. I never read my books and the only time they are pulled off of the shelf is to do homework problems and refer to for writing essays and papers. I can't wait to be done with school. But I have 4 and 1/2 years left to go, so it's gonna be a while.
Nikki and I took Lauren to the high school to pick up her prom pictures. When we pulled in the parking lot I couldnt believe how much had changed. I can't believe that not only have I been out of school for over a full year now but I'm about to be a sophomore in college. The thought boggles my mind. Another thing that is crazy is that this morning when I was getting ready for the day, I thought to myself "Damn, this time next year, I'll be 20 years old." Time flies so damn fast, especially when you dont want it to.
Well, I guess this entry is long enough for now. I'm really tired and I have to watch Colin tomorrow bright and early. Thank God Char is coming over to help me watch him. (Char, you're wonderful!!) I'll try and update more often or something. Good night everyone. |
